Banks is located on the Southern tip of South Ronaldsay - Orkney

Multi map..

(By car) ~ Once on the Island from your chosen arrival point and carrier, from all points it is necessary to travel south to the Island of South Ronaldsay.

The road running from Kirkwall and St Margarets Hope (A961) leads to Burwick (the arrival point of the summer only foot ferry from John O Groats)

As you are approaching the southern tip of the Island, follow the directions to Tomb of The Eagles wich is a left turn before arrival to Burwick.

This road leads to Cleat and a right turn will take you to the approach for the Tomb of The Eagles. Banks, is a continuation of the road, passing the left turn to the Tomb to arrive at the end of the road and "Banks"

Tomb of The Eagles : a privately owned historical archaeological site. A very popular, family run and interesting location to visit.

We would be delighted to suggest various options of ways to get to Orkney, and assist in whatever way we can.
